Sherri & Lucas' Couples Portraits at Southside Beach - by Chamonix

Sherri and Lucas met us at Southside Beach for their Maui Couples Portraits. This gorgeous couple started dating when Sherri moved to the island 4 years ago and they've been together ever since. Now Sherri works as a day-of wedding coordinator on the island and this photo shoot was her big chance to get Lucas involved in her wonderful world of cute wedding props! Sherri is so sweet and full of bubbly enthusiasm. She brought an entire box of fun props with her — balloons, goofy champagne flutes, bubble machines, hearts on sticks and sparklers! Lucas was such a good sport, playing along for his lady as she dropped coke bottles into his hands, convinced him to lie on his back in the sand, and kissed him over the top of a red rose. We had these two running all over the beach, splashing in the waves and holding lots of long kisses for the camera. Kathleen & Greg's Couples Portraits at Po'olenalena Beach - by Chamonix

In November 2012, three sisters met us on the beach for a photo shoot. Kathleen, Brenda & Angel had all been diagnosed with breast cancer within a year of each other. The three extraordinary women have been on this journey of survival together. Read more about their story here. One year later, they're back in Maui for a holiday. We were honored to photograph Kathleen again, this time with Greg, her partner of 25 years! Kathleen & Greg met us at Po'olenalena Beach in south Maui for their couples portrait session. They were so full of love for one another, holding each other delicately and smiley when they looked into each other's eyes. After everything they have been through, getting these photographs together was extremely important. They wanted to have images that captured their relationship so they would have something to hold onto in the future should anything happen to one of them. Not only were Kathleen and Greg inspiring, they were so much fun. They were full of fun ideas and willing to try anything.  By the end of their shoot they were soaking wet, covered in sand and laughing.  Thank you so much Kathleen & Greg! Amy & Chad's Couples Portraits at Southside Beach - by Chamonix

Amy and Chad were so adorable at their photo shoot this week. We met them at Southside Beach for a sunset photo session. Before heading down to the sand, we started with some cuddling in the beautiful green trees that line the beach. Amy instantly started laughing and being goofy, trying to make Chad crack a smile. We loved her playfulness! After adventuring on the lava rocks and splashing in the waves, Amy and Chad stood hand and hand at the shore, staring out at the ocean and one of the most stunning sunsets we've seen this month. We love it when the clouds get involved and catch all the colors in the sky. Thank you so much Amy & Chad for choosing Maui Vacation Portraits, we had a wonderful time with you both!
